When shipping an order, if the USPS /FedEx API throws an error, the order will be placed in the Ship Error Activity screen and email is sent to your account. We expect you to log in to the portal, update the address and activate the order using the "OrderManagement --> Ship Error Activity" tab.
Shipping Address Issues & Solutions
We have given you a list of common shipping error issues and corrective solutions in the table below. Additionally, for domestic address, the "Domestic Address Validation" tool is available on the "Ship Error Activity" tab. The USPS Address Validation Tool is also a great alternative for checking addresses.

Tips: Most of the domestic orders in the "Ship Error Activity" state may have an address format issue, such as "No space between street number and address." You can fix these issues without contacting the customer. Verify the shipping address by searching for it through Google to make sure that the customer supplied address is correct. Sometimes a customer may enter "Blvd" for "Avenue". Contact the customer in the following cases: Street number missing. Suite number missing, Street address missing, city and Zip Code not matching If your customer confirms that the given address is correct, then please try changing the shipping method to different carriers. For example, if you are using USPS, try changing to FedEx Please refer to the following list of supported country names by the USPS for international shipments: [USPS Supported Country Names] |
Shipping to a PO Box
Please use USPS for the purpose of shipping to PO Box addresses.
FedEx requires a physical address as a shipment's final destination. If a FedEx is used for a PO Box address, the order will end up in Ship Error Activity and either the shipping method or shipping address would need to be changed.
