Printing on the bubble mailer
We print bubble mailers in 1-color (single spot color) only. Choose any solid Pantone (PMS) color and we’ll match it on press. This keeps unit cost low and produces a clean, distinctive brand mark.
If your artwork is currently in CMYK or RGB, please convert it to a single spot color before sending the file. Photographs, gradients, and drop shadows are not supported in 1-color print.
What file format do you accept?
Print-ready PDF only. Specifically:
- All artwork at 100% scale on the supplied template.
- Includes the 0.20 in (5 mm) bleed on every edge.
- Vector art preferred. Any raster images at 300 dpi at final size.
- All fonts outlined (converted to paths). No live text.
- Spot color clearly named (e.g., PMS 286 C).
- Single-page PDF, with the supplied template as a hidden underlay layer in your file.
What do bleed, trim, and safe zone mean?
- Bleed (red hatched border, 0.20 in / 5 mm) — background art must extend into this area. Anything here gets trimmed off after printing.
- Trim line (dark outer rectangle) — where the sheet is actually cut.
- Safe zone (blue dashed inner rectangle, 0.20 in / 5 mm in from trim) — keep all critical artwork — text, logos, the shipping-label box — inside this rectangle. Anything closer to the trim risks being cut off.
Why is the BACK panel upside down on the template?
That’s intentional. When the flat sheet folds into a mailer, the bottom panel (BACK) flips up and over — so any art printed there appears upside-down on the flat sheet but reads right-way-up on the finished mailer. Design your BACK art the right way up, then rotate the layer 180° before placing it on the template.
What’s the white box on the FRONT panel?
That’s the placement guide for the Acutrack-applied shipping label (4 in × 6 in / 101.6 × 152.4 mm). We apply the label after printing. It can be positioned anywhere on FRONT, but please leave that footprint clear of artwork so the label doesn’t cover anything important.
What about the gray “FLAP COVERS THIS AREA WHEN SEALED” band?
When the flap folds down to seal the mailer, it covers the bottom 1.97 in (50 mm) of BACK. Avoid placing logos, taglines, or any critical artwork in that band — it will be hidden once the mailer is sealed.
How do I submit my final artwork?
Please submit the file to filesupport@acutrack.com
