Acutrack deploys different print technology depending on run size and quality desired.
Offset printing, also called lithography, uses a large printing press with a series of printing plates that transfer ink onto paper, which is then cut, folded, and bound to form a final product. There are two primary types of offset printing, sheet-fed and web.
Because of the high setup cost, we use Offset printing press when you have a print run of 2,000 or more books. Offset web is used for most 1 color (black) text or 4-color printed job. However, if you need a really high-end color printing, we choose offset sheetfed.
Digital Inkjet is designed for short-run printing needs. There are two primary types of Digital printing: inkjet and toner-based. Inkjet is the latest web-based print technology to produce both 1 color and 4-color print job. However, if you need a really high-end color printing for short-run print then we choose Digital Toner based printing.
Digital Toner is largely powder-based but produces really high color quality. When printing documents, an electrically charged drum picks up the tiny particles and rolls them onto the page according to the pattern being printed.
