What is the PDF proof approval process?
When Acutrack's Prepress team has reviewed your artwork and prepared a PDF proof for your review, the order status is updated to "Proof Sent." You'll then log in to the portal to review and either approve or reject the proof before production begins.
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1 — Log in to the portal Visit app.acutrack.com and sign in with your credentials.
Step 2 — Go to the Artwork List From the left-side navigation menu, click on Artwork List.
Step 3 — Find titles with "Proof Sent" status Scan the list for any titles showing the status Proof Sent — these are the ones awaiting your review.
Step 4 — Open the artwork details Click the Artwork ID link for the title you want to review. This opens the artwork details page.
Step 5 — Locate the PDF Proof History section Scroll down past the Basic Info section. You'll see a card labeled PDF Proof History, which contains all proofs shared with you.
Step 6 — Review the proof From the PDF Proof History card, you can:
- View the proof directly in the portal
- Download it to your device for a closer review
Step 7 — Approve or reject Once you've reviewed the proof:
- Click 👍 Thumbs Up to approve — your file moves forward to production
- Click 👎 Thumbs Down to reject — you'll be prompted to upload a revised file for Prepress to review again
What happens after I approve?
Your artwork is confirmed and Acutrack will proceed with production.
What happens if I reject the proof?
You'll be given the option to upload a corrected file. Once submitted, the Prepress team will review it and send a new proof for your approval.
