Why is a package showing "Delivered" in Germany when shipped via DHL Global Mail?
DHL Global Mail is an economical way to ship your parcels to their destination. DHL Global arranges for your parcel to be delivered to the destination country via DHLs logistics network and final mile delivery is done by the local postal service in the destination country.
DHL has a transit facility in Germany where some shipments pass through to complete preliminary Customs clearance before being handed over to the local postal service.
Please be assured. Your package is on its way to the destination country and shipping address on the shipment.
What happens to undelivered items when shipped via DHL Global Mail?
Items that cannot be delivered in the destination country will be returned to us. All undeliverable items are sent to the Deutsche Post International Mail Centre in Niederaula, Germany. Here the items are sorted, consolidated, and then process for return.
