USPS offers many different services other than First class/Priority Mail package services. These USPS services have restricted criteria and one must meet USPS standards. We classify these special services as Media Mail, Letter rate and large envelope flat rate mailing services. All these services have a fixed cost to any destination, not the zone-based distance system as for first or priority mail service.
Media Mail is a cost-effective way to send media materials through the U.S. Postal Service. Media Mail is for shipping media items containing books, sound recordings, recorded videotapes, printed music, recorded computer-readable media (such as CDs and DVDs). The package cannot contain advertising. Packages can weigh up to 70 lbs. and measure up to 108 inches in combined length and distance around the thickest part.
USPS offers delivery tracking and estimates that your item will arrive in 2 to 10 days. Acutrack charge additional $0.50 surcharge on the USPS advertised cost as per below effective January 26, 2020:
Letter rate is a small rectangular mail piece which is no thicker than ¼”. Additionally, a letter rate package must have a length between 5” to 11½” and height between 3½” to 6 ⅛”. The package must meet the criteria of thickness, length, and height. Additionally, the USPS Letter rate is offered for packages up to 3.5 oz. only.

Large Envelope Flat
The Postal Service uses the word "flats" to refer to large envelopes, newsletters, and magazines. The words large envelopes and flats are used interchangeably. Whatever you call them, flats must:
- Have one dimension that is greater than 6⅛” high or 11½” long
- Be no more than 12” high x 15” long
- Mailpiece should not be thicker than ¾”
