Receiving fees cover the cost of unloading product, counting, and entering the details in your inventory system, and locating the products to a specific location.
Counting inventory:
Our receiving fee depends on how you want us to count. If you are sending products on a case or pallet, should we open each case and count the quantity or just trust the count based on the packaging slip? Please note: We are only responsible for the exact number of inventory when we are physically counting each item.
- Unit Receiving - We count each unit
- Box Receiving - We count the number of boxes. We do not count each item within the box.
- Pallet Receiving - We count the pallets. We also count number of boxes in the pallet. However, we do not count if more than one product is mixed in a pallet.
- Hourly - If the inventory received does not meet our receiving guideline, it requires sorting or any manual unloading from a container, this may incur an additional charge based on $45 per hour.
