What is a bundle product and how does it work?

A bundle product contains more than one manufactured component or good.

Prepackage as one product by Assembling:

The product has to be pre-assembled and set up in our system as one product. The product has to be pre-assembled in the following cases...

• Fragile products such as a mug, glass bottle.
• One or more products that require special packaging which cannot be packaged at the time of shipping.
• If any of the items do not require a barcode. 
• Package requires special wrapping

Once the product is pre-assembled, a UPC code will be applied and will be added to our system as a single product. This product will have stock by itself. There is an assembly fee to pre-assemble the products and package them as one product. Please contact your account manager at Acutrack to get a quote.

Each item of the bundle has to be set up as an individual product in our system. Each individual product will have stock. For example, if your bundle (BookB)  has 2 books (Book1 and Book2), Book1 has to be set up as an individual product, and Book2 has to be set up as an individual product in our system. We will configure bundle product BookB to have 1 quantity of Book1 + 1 quantity of Book2.

When we receive an order from your shopping cart for a bundle product BookB, our configurator will place the order in our system with 2 separate line items, Book1 - Quantity 1 and Book2 - Quantity 1.  Our shipping team will pull each line item and package it together and ship your bundle products. Our bundle product configurator allows us to configure with any number of products and quantity. 

Please note, ALL the items in this 2nd bundle option should have a scannable barcode.
